My latest work has deep roots in concepts of time, its qualities and its relentless influence on our lives. The paintings are stacks of horizontal forms, varying in complexity and thickness. Each strata marks space or time spent to create a moment. Peaking through the layers are remnants of all the little things that go into the story of the current moment. As you look closer at these paintings, you will find details, lines, and forms etched into the surface, adding texture where you didn’t think to find it. Kind of like moments in life themselves.
