The old songs we turn into stories

Bright and colorful, this painting isn’t as toned by the overlapping layers as I sometimes paint. The underlying forms are still very present in the final piece creating a story within itself. Lots of artists build songs into paintings, Kandinsky is the easiest example of this concept. This painting is about songs into stories into paint. How collective memory is captured and delivered on.

On 7/8 cradled wood, currently with natural sides with evidence of the painting process on them. They can be finished white if desired. Wired and ready to hang.
